Lessons from Mother

The other day it started raining as I was getting off the train. I knew I had a good 10 minute walk home. I had no jacket and no umbrella, and I decided not to huddle up or try to avoid the inevitble drenching. So, instead I held my head up and walked boldly up the road meeting the rain with my face. It was a great feeling.
I felt free.
I felt connected to nature.
I felt like a complete jackass when I woke up sick the next morning.
