Inspiracion

Lately, I've been inspired to practice my Spanish in attempts to become fluent.
There are many reasons, one includes coveting my neighbor's vacation--but the main reason came from the "Domestic Assembly."

Every six years there is a world-wide phenomenon that happens within the Daughters of Charity. Each house (aka "local community") meets to discuss specific questions about the direction of the service and life of the sisters. It's pretty amazing how all over the world their are thousands of sisters getting together in little groups to talk about how to be of service in the world....anyway, one of the things that was discussed in the importance of learning languages, so we can serve people without language barriers. So...I got myself to the biblioteca and now i'm escuchando to CDs in espanol in the car...

I think God is trying to send you a message that you should be going on trips to Latin America with your old college friends. After all, immersion is the best way to become fluent. So, basically, you do two good things at once: spend quality time with friends and make yourself more of service to the world. But that's just my logic.
